It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Temika Lashawn Moore, who departed this world peacefully on May 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on August 26, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, Temika was a beacon of love and resilience, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Temika was the cherished daughter of Yvonne Smith and the late Carey Washington. Her life was deeply enriched by the love and wisdom of her grandmother, Jackie Moore, who preceded her in death and with whom she is now reunited. Temika's family, both those who have passed and those still with us, were her greatest joy. She is survived by her devoted partner, Terry, her children Davion Hall, Kaseam Hurt, and Khloe Moore, who will forever cherish her memory. Her family extends to her siblings, Melissa Moore, Talisa Smith, and Dania W., and her cousin MeMe Ashley. Temika also leaves behind a loving extended family and many close, dear friends who were touched by her kindness and strength. A proud mother and grandmother, Temika was blessed with seven grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. Temika's nurturing spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her educational journey began at Avondale High School and Towers High School, culminating in her graduation from Penn Foster. Temika was also pursuing a degree at Chamber University, showcasing her passion for learning and personal growth. Professionally, Temika dedicated over 20 years of service to the United Cerebral Palsy of Atlanta. Her commitment to helping others was evident in her work, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and dedication. Outside of her career, Temika was a vibrant presence in her community as the president of the Rare Jewels Motorcycle Club. Her leadership and zest for life were evident in all her endeavors, and she will be fondly remembered by her fellow club members. Temika's family invites all who knew her to celebrate her life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to organizations supporting breast cancer research, continuing her legacy of hope and healing for future generations. As we say goodbye, we hold close the memories of Temika's laughter, love, and unwavering strength. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us with the warmth and light she so generously shared with the world. Rest in peace, dear Temika. Your journey may have ended, but your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
