Tegan Kade Daigle

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Tegan Kade Daigle, who left this world unexpectedly on August 21, 2026, at the tender age of 17. Born on January 3, 2009, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tegan was a bright and ambitious young man with dreams of becoming an engineer, a path he had begun to explore with the encouragement and support of a trusted school staff member. Tegan was the cherished son of Adele Marie Duplessis and David Daigle. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts, including his devoted sister, Taryn Fontenot Coats; brother-in-law, Brayden Coats; and his beloved niece, Anabelle Fontenot. Tegan's gentle spirit and kind nature were treasured by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gadis Duplessis; Aunt Deanne Gautreau; Uncle John (Coonie) Gautreau; and many other dear family members who welcomed him into eternal rest. As a junior in high school, Tegan was not only dedicated to his studies but also to his future. His mild-mannered, sweet, and considerate disposition endeared him to friends, family, and educators alike. His aspirations to further his education and pursue a career in engineering were met with enthusiasm and encouragement, reflecting his determination and potential. A service to honor and celebrate Tegan's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Rosary Church, located on Hwy. 429 in St. Amant, Louisiana. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Tegan's warmth and kindness are invited to gather in remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Tegan's generous spirit and the love he had for helping others. Tegan's gentle soul and kind heart left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell to this remarkable young man, we hold tightly to the memories he gave us and the love he shared, knowing he will always be with us in spirit.
