In Loving Memory

Tedra Rodriguez
July 17, 1976 — July 14, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound respect, we honor the life of Tedra Rodriguez, who departed this world on July 14, 2026, just shy of her 50th birthday. Born on July 17, 1976, in Warrensburg, Missouri, Tedra was a cherished daughter of Martin Bowie and Pamela (Ross) Brady. Her father, Martin, and beloved grandparents, George and Dottie Ross and Dale and Mary Ellen Bowie, preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Tedra was a devoted mother to her two children, Bryleigh and Blake, who were the light of her life. She shared a beautiful marriage with her husband, Alex Rodriguez, since November 2005. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Tedra's family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
A proud graduate of Warrensburg High School and the University of Central Missouri, Tedra pursued a career in the insurance industry, where she spent many years helping others. For the past year, she was a dedicated account manager at Higginbotham. Tedra's colleagues and clients alike appreciated her kindness, diligence, and professionalism.
Tedra's quiet nature belied a vibrant spirit that emerged once you got to know her. She was a steadfast friend, full of joy and charisma. Her smile could light up any room she entered, and her love for her family was evident in all she did. Tedra had a special place in her heart for animals, and her compassion extended to all living creatures.
In her leisure time, Tedra found joy playing pool and watching her children's activities. She was known for her ability to create a good time and bring laughter to those around her. Her warmth and authenticity touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Tedra is survived by her loving mother, Pamela Brady, her children Bryleigh and Blake, her brother Ryan and sister-in-law Jalonna, her Aunt Debby and Uncle Bob Lotspeich, and her cherished nieces Taelyn, Emersyn, and Breckyn. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A service to celebrate Tedra's life will be held on July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holdren Sweeney Funeral Home. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Western Regional Medical Center and St. Luke's on the Plaza for their gentle and dedicated care during Tedra's final months.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in Tedra's memory, honoring her love for animals and her compassionate spirit.
Tedra's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and friendship. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of warmth and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, forever cherished in our hearts.
