Taylor was the cherished daughter of Valeria and Jack Abbott, who, alongside her siblings, were the center of her universe. Her grandparents, Evelyn and George Abbott, who preceded her in passing, now welcome her with open arms. A student at South Hills Middle School, Taylor was known not just for her academic curiosity and love of learning but also for her radiant smile that could effortlessly light up any room. She had a natural ability to make others smile; her laughter was infectious, a melody that will echo in the hearts of her classmates and teachers forever. Taylor was a vibrant soul with a zest for life, whose hobbies and interests painted a picture of a life lived with passion and joy. She was an avid basketball player, finding joy and camaraderie on the court. Her love for reading transported her to worlds beyond imagination, while her time spent camping with her family was filled with adventure and connection to nature. Singing and dancing were her expressions of joy, each note and step a testament to her free spirit and boundless enthusiasm. Though her time with us was brief, Taylor's impact was profound. Her joyous spirit and infectious happiness left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. She was a shining light in this world, and her absence leaves an ache that is only tempered by the memories of her vivacious laughter and the love she so freely gave. In accordance with the family’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Taylor's life and legacy. During this time, we invite those who loved Taylor to reflect on the joy she brought into their lives and to remember her as the spirited, loving, and happy child she was.
