It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kiora Wheeler, who was born on June 13 1992 in the vibrant Bronx, New York. Kiora departed from this world on October 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and ambition that touched all who knew her. Kiora was a cherished daughter of Tasha M. Wheeler and Clifford Rodgers. Her familial bonds were a source of strength and joy throughout her life. She is predeceased by her younger brother Taliek Wheeler, younger sister Ashley Wheeler, and older brothers Lamont and Andre Wheeler. Kiora’s memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family, who held her dearly in their hearts. A proud graduate, kiora pursued a career in real estate. Her ambition and dedication in this field were a testament to her passion for making a difference and her drive to succeed. She was also an esteemed member of the Freemasons, where she forged lasting friendships and contributed to her community. Kiora was known for her warm and generous spirit, always extending kindness to those around her. Her interests were varied, but she found great joy in the pursuit of success and the opportunities it afforded. Kiora’s genuine and nice nature endeared her to many, creating a network of friends and colleagues who will remember her fondly. A private funeral service will be held to honor kiora’s life, with a Celebration of Life taking place on October 26, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 1121 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx, New York 10461. The service will include a heartfelt Order of Service with a processional, opening prayer, hymn, scripture reading, musical selections, words of remembrance, eulogy, closing prayer, and recessional. In keeping with Kiora’s spirit, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice. A special message from the family reads, "We love u," echoing the deep affection they held for kiora and the gratitude they feel towards all who have offered support during this difficult time. The family extends heartfelt thanks for your prayers, support, and kindness, which have brought comfort in their time of grief. As we say goodbye to kiora, we remember her with the words of an Irish blessing: "May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand." Kiora will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Kiora Wheeler welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
