It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tarrick Person, who left this world on July 6, 2026. Born on September 14, 1972, in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, NY, Tarrick brought light and laughter to all who knew him. Raised at 523 Putnam Avenue by his devoted grandparents, Navator and Jesse Person, Tarrick's early years were filled with love and the values that shaped his remarkable character. Tarrick was a man of many layers, known for his witty humor and his vast knowledge of nutrition, history, and music. His presence was as commanding as his physique, cultivated through years of weight training and bodybuilding. A graduate of automotive high school, Tarrick pursued diverse careers, demonstrating his versatility and work ethic. His professional journey took him through fields such as security, culinary arts, and even a stint in sanitation, each role undertaken with dedication and pride. Family was the cornerstone of Tarrick's life. He leaves behind three cherished children: Tarrick, Antoine, and Chisa, along with a host of relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, who will hear tales of his humor, wisdom, and protective nature. Preceding Tarrick in death are his beloved grandparents, Jesse and Navator Person, as well as his parents, Irene and Thomas Person. Though they are no longer with us, their influence and love shaped the man Tarrick became. Tarrick was a deep thinker, always aware of his surroundings and the people within them. His light-hearted spirit and protective nature made him a pillar of strength and joy for his family and friends. His interests in music, history, and nutrition were surpassed only by his love for those around him, and his infectious laughter will be dearly missed. In honor of Tarrick's generous spirit, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers. May we all find comfort in the memories we shared with Tarrick and strive to live with the same passion and kindness that he bestowed upon the world.
