With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Tanya Nadina Hoof (Hopper), known affectionately as "Taunz," who left us on October 29, 2026. Born on April 6, 1985, in California, Tanya was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of all who knew her. Tanya was a beacon of love and protection, always ensuring those around her felt safe and valued. Her journey began in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, where she attended headstart and graduated with pride. Her formative years were spent at Wolf Creek Elementary, where she quickly became known as a fierce protector of her peers. Later, she accomplished her GED in Oroville, California, demonstrating her determination and resilience. A free spirit at heart, Tanya gave her all to the people she loved. Her dedication to ensuring that no soul was left behind was a testament to her boundless compassion. She cherished her friends deeply, always offering a shoulder to lean on and a heart full of understanding. Her warmth and kindness created a ripple effect that touched countless lives, and for that, we are eternally grateful. Tanya is survived by her cherished children, Makai Ingram and Luna Hopper, who will carry forward her legacy of love and strength. She leaves behind a world that feels a little emptier without her but is infinitely richer for having known her. As we navigate this emotional time, we kindly ask for privacy to honor Tanya's memory and send her off in peace. A service to celebrate her life will be held on November 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Mechoopda Cemetery in Chico, California. Family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched are welcome to join us in remembering and honoring the remarkable woman we were blessed to know.
