Tammy Wiggins, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 13, 2026, just a day shy of her 60th birthday. Born on August 14, 1966, in the quaint town of Ionia, Iowa, Tammy was the cherished daughter of Mary Wiggins, who predeceased her along with her brother, Steve Wiggins. Tammy's warm heart and welcoming nature left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to meet her. Her smile was truly contagious, lighting up every room she entered and inviting conversations with strangers who quickly became friends. Tammy's friendly demeanor was reflected in her work at Caseys, where she spent eight fulfilling years in the kitchen, sharing her kindness with colleagues and patrons alike. Outside of work, Tammy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved listening to country music, coloring, and spending time with her friends. Weekends and days off often found her relaxing in her comfy clothes, a small luxury she truly cherished. Her love for garage sales was well-known, and she relished the thrill of discovering hidden treasures. Tammy leaves behind a family who adored her deeply: her daughter Danielle and son Tony, who were the center of her world; her sister Kim, who shared many cherished memories; her nieces Ashley and Kristen, and nephew Justin, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Tammy was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, who were undoubtedly the apples of her eye. A service to honor Tammy's life will be held on August 17, 2026, at 3:30 PM at St. Boniface Church, located at 204 E. Prairie Street, Ionia, IA. The family has expressed their gratitude to everyone at MercyOne for the compassionate care and efforts they provided during Tammy's time of need. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice, a gesture that would reflect Tammy's own giving spirit. Tammy will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness, joy, and love will forever remain in our hearts.
