Tammy Sue Ramgobin
June 24, 1963 – September 25, 2026
With heavy hearts and deep love, we remember Tammy Sue Ramgobin, who passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the age of 63. Born in Sealy, Texas, on June 24, 1963, and later residing in South Carolina, Tammy was a cherished wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother. To her family, she was so much more than the names and dates written here. She was part of their everyday lives, their memories, and their sense of home.
Tammy’s passing leaves an absence that words cannot fully express. Her family will miss the conversations they thought they still had time to have, the moments they hoped to share, and the simple comfort of knowing she was there. Alongside that sorrow is gratitude—for the years together, the love they shared, and the memories that now mean more than ever.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Simpson, and her stepfather, Fred McAferty.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Sonny Ramgobin; her mother, Sue McAferty; her brother, Charles Simpson, and Susie Watson; and her three sons and their families: Erik Malan and his wife, Crystal, and their son, Johnny; Cody Lewis and Courtney, and their children, Abel, Tatum, Tanah, and Tenley; and Dylan Lewis and his wife, Rose, and their children, Gracie, Olivia, and Raiden. Each carries their own memories of Tammy and a connection to her that will remain a treasured part of their lives.
A memorial service celebrating Tammy’s life will be held on October 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at River of Life Assembly of God Church, located at 6040 Airport Road, Georgetown, Texas 78628. Family and friends are invited to gather in love and remembrance to honor her life, share cherished memories, and celebrate the love she leaves behind.
There is no easy goodbye to someone so deeply loved. Tammy’s family will remember her in the stories they tell, the photographs they revisit, and the everyday moments that bring her to mind. They will miss her dearly, speak of her with love, and carry her memory in their hearts always.

If Roses Grow In Heaven
If Roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.
Special Thanks
The family of Tammy Sue Ramgobin extends heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, support, and kindness during this time.
