Born on November 17, 1961, in Windber, Tammy graced the world with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. Tammy was the beloved daughter of John and Sandra Shetler, who predeceased her. She grew up in a loving home that nurtured her strong values and sense of community. She graduated from Windber Area High School, where she began to cultivate the qualities that would define her life: compassion, resilience, and a deep empathy for others. A proud veteran, Tammy served her country in the Air Force, a testament to her bravery and dedication. After her service, she embarked on a career that touched the lives of many. Tammy worked as a guidance counselor at Johnstown Vo-Tech, where her gentle guidance and steadfast support helped countless students navigate their paths to success. She also served as a secretary for the honorable Judge Fitch in Somerset County, where her diligence and integrity were deeply respected. Tammy found great joy and solace in her family. She married the love of her life, Robert J. Dudinack, on August 22, 1999. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and shared adventures. Tammy was a devoted mother to her sons, Tyler, Brandon, and Jay, and welcomed her stepchildren, Robert K. Dudinack and Amanda Wilkins, into her heart as her own. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Tammy's life was a tapestry of love woven through her relationships and community. An active member of the New Life Church of The Nazarene in Boswell, she shared her faith and compassion with all who knew her. Her involvement with the Slovak Club in Windber demonstrated her commitment to cultural heritage and community service. Tammy's life was enriched by the simple pleasures she treasured most, such as fishing with her sons and camping in the great outdoors. These cherished moments were a testament to her love for nature and family, and her ability to find joy in everyday experiences. Known for her gift of making everyone she met feel welcomed and valued, Tammy's warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Her laughter and spirit will be remembered with fondness and love. Tammy leaves behind her adoring husband, Robert, her sons Tyler, Brandon, and Jay, her stepchildren Robert and Amanda, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. A celebration of Tammy's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Life Church of The Nazarene in Boswell, a place that held a special place in Tammy’s heart.
