Tammy Marie Engelhardt

June 5, 1962 — July 4, 2026

Tammy Marie Engelhardt, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and steadfast friend, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on June 5, 1962, in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, Tammy was the cherished daughter of the late James and Nellie Crocker Ryan. Tammy's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to her family. For nearly 43 years, she was the devoted wife of Don Engelhardt, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. Together, they built a family rooted in love, respect, and joy, raising three remarkable children: Ann Taylor and her husband Richard, Mary Engelhardt Sharpe and her husband Justin, and Gregory Engelhardt. Tammy's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Khloe, Abby, Paisley, Sawyer, Lucas, Chase, Wesley, and Garrett, who were her pride and joy. A dedicated homemaker, Tammy's heart beat strongest within the walls of her home, where she cultivated not just a house, but a haven. Her laughter was the symphony that echoed through the halls, and her love was the glue that held the family together. Tammy had a knack for making everyone laugh, her humor and warmth leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Tammy was a woman of simple pleasures, finding joy and wonder in the serenity of stargazing, the strategic challenge of chess, and the camaraderie of online games. Her eyes often turned skyward, marveling at the vastness of the universe, a reminder of the boundless love she shared with her family. She is survived by her sister, Judy McAlister, and brother, Jimmy Ryan, along with a loving extended family including her niece and nephew Crystal, Nolan, Wesley, Michael, and Kenneth. Tammy's family was her world, and she theirs; her presence was a constant, a beacon of guidance and comfort. In honoring Tammy's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on those she touched. Her family, while feeling the immense loss of her physical presence, finds solace in the memories and love she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tammy's memory can be made to a charity of your choice, as she believed deeply in the kindness and generosity that enriches our world. Tammy Marie Engelhardt's life was a testament to love, laughter, and family. Her spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those who were blessed to share in her journey. She will be deeply missed but eternally remembered.
