Tammie Jo Wright Baker

September 23, 1966 — October 23, 2026

Tammie Jo Wright Baker, a beloved wife, cherished family member, and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 23, 2026. Born on September 23, 1966, in Elmira, New York, Tammies's life was marked by love, laughter, and an enduring spirit that touched all who knew her. Tammie was the daughter of the late Carol and Mary Ella Wright, who instilled in her the values of kindness and generosity. She is now reunited with them and her brother, Scott Allen Wright, in eternal peace. She is survived by her devoted husband, Phil Faulkner, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love. Tammy and Phil celebrated their marriage on September 9, 2021, and cherished a decade together filled with joy and adventure. Her siblings, David Wright, Kathy and Paul Olyowski, and Michael and Laurie Wright, remember Tammie as a beacon of warmth and humor. Her children, Mathew and Jill Baker, Nathan and Heather Moon, and stepmother Pearl Lapoint, along with several nieces and nephews, will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Tammie was the proud grandmother of six, and she delighted in sharing her love and wisdom with each of them. Tammie was also embraced by her extended family, including in-laws Richard and Nancy Rosekrans, brother-in-law Jim (Karen) Faulkner, and sister-in-laws Judy (Calvin) Watson, Audrey Corby, and Lynette Faulkner. Her special friends, Nancy Spaulding and Dottie Shrellenberger, were treasured companions throughout her life. A woman of many interests, Tammie was an avid designer bag collector. Her passion for travel took her to Florida's sponge docks, where she enjoyed dining at Helena's and soaking in the vibrant local culture. Tammie's most cherished moments were those spent with her husband Phil, as they explored the world and shared in its wonders. Tammie's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her fun-loving nature and generous spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Tammie's memory to a charity of your choice, to continue her legacy of kindness and generosity.
