She was the beloved daughter of Carole and Emery Tait, who preceded her in death, and she carried their legacy of love and kindness throughout her life. Tammy attended Brighton High School, where she first began to develop her love for learning and her commitment to community service, traits that would define her throughout her life. After graduating, she embarked on a career that showcased her caring nature and dedication to helping others. For over 24 years, Tammy worked as a Supervisor over the Orthopedic clinic at St. Marks Hospital. Her colleagues and patients alike knew her as a compassionate professional who always went above and beyond to care for those in her charge. Her work was not just a job; it was a testament to her unwavering dedication to the well-being of others. Beyond her professional life, Tammy was a proud and active member of the American Legion Post 112 and Post 71. Her involvement in these organizations reflected her deep sense of patriotism and her desire to serve her community and country. Tammy's life was a tapestry woven with love and family. She was the devoted mother of her two children, Joshua Hambleton and Sommer Hambleton, who survive her. They were the light of her life, and she imparted her wisdom, strength, and love to them every day. Tammy was also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren Ryker, Braleigh, Brandon Jr., and Paizlee Rae. Her legacy of love continues to grow with the blessing of her one great-grandchild, who carries forward her spirit and kindness. Tammy's sudden passing from cardiac arrest, which led to severe brain damage, leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. It is a loss that cannot be fully explained or understood, but her family and friends take solace in the many beautiful memories she leaves behind.
