Tammy D. Bush, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on December 24, 1958, in Columbus, Georgia, Tammy graced the world with warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met.
The cherished daughter of George (Don)Taylor and Barbara Taylor. Tammy was raised with a nurturing spirit that she carried throughout her life. Her father, Don and stepfather, Erv Dimmick, predeceased her, as did her nephew, Alex Taylor, leaving behind fond memories that Tammy held close to her heart.
Tammy’s life was a testament to love and commitment. On June 4, 1977, she married the love of her life, Jack Bush, in a beautiful ceremony in Georgia. They were happily married for 48 years . Their journey took them to Texas before they eventually settled in Show Low, Arizona, where they raised their three children. Tammy’s devotion to her family was exceptional, and her legacy lives on through her children.
Her family was her pride and joy, and she found immense pleasure in spending time with her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Tammy had a unique ability to make everyone feel special. Whether it was a family barbecue or a simple phone call, her presence was a comforting constant in the lives of those she loved.
Tammy is survived by her beloved husband, Jack Bush, her loving children, April Goss (Jason), Crystal (Thomas), Eric Bush (Sara) , her mother, Barbara Harns (Tom), and her brother, Terry Taylor (Sheila) also aunts,uncles ,nieces and nephews along with a heartfelt network of friends and extended family who will deeply miss her vibrant spirit.
A woman of simple joys, Tammy loved talking on the phone, a pastime that allowed her to stay connected with loved ones near and far. Her conversations were filled with warmth, humor, and genuine interest in the lives of others.
Tammy was a loving wife and mother. She loved all of her family deeply and was there for anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed !
Her memory will continue to inspire love, compassion, and kindness in the lives she touched.
