Tamika Moore

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tamika Moore, a woman of remarkable spirit and unwavering dedication, who left this world on May 4, 2026, at the age of 43. Tamika was born on August 26, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, a city that she would always call home. Tamika was the beloved daughter of Yvonne Smith and the late Carey Washington, and she was predeceased by her cherished grandmother, Jacqueline Moore, who held a special place in her heart. She was a devoted partner, deeply in love and engaged to her soulmate, Terry Stalings, with whom she shared countless dreams and plans for a bright future together. Tamika was a beacon of light and warmth to her family, and her legacy will live on through her children, Davion Hall, Khloe Moore and Kaseme Hurt, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her love extended to her stepchildren, Taylor Stalings and Malachi Davis, whom she embraced as her own. Tamika's nurturing spirit was further celebrated by her six grandchildren: Davion Hall Jr., Brooklyn Hall, Meziah Hurt, Mylo Hurt, Makai Hurt, and Camdyn Lovelace, each of whom she adored beyond measure. Tamika's love was vast, and her family was large and cherished. She leaves behind her cherished siblings: Melissa Moore, Talisa Smith, Denate Whitley, and Keri White, along with a multitude of nieces and nephews, including Jamerria Moore, Ni’aysia Smith, Skylan Smith, Delani Barber, Caliyah Clifford, Dynasty Player, Darian Goodman, Martavious Jefferson Jr., De’marion Bright, Demitri Bright, Jarmal Moore, Justin Long Jr., Jarrelle Moore, and Clifford Cannon. Education was a cornerstone of Tamika's life. She proudly earned her diploma from Pen Foster, attended Towers High School and Avondale High School, and was diligently pursuing a college degree at Chamber University. Her commitment to learning was matched only by her dedication to her career. For over 20 years, she worked at United Cerebral Palsy of Atlanta, where her caring and dependable nature touched the lives of many. As the president of the Rare Jewelz in Atlanta, Tamika embodied leadership and compassion, creating a community of support and friendship. Her hobbies included motorcycle riding, fine dining, and arts and crafts, each of which she pursued with the same passion and zest that characterized her entire life. Tamika was known for her loving, giving, and independent spirit. She was a steadfast friend and a pillar of strength to all who knew her. Her vibrant personality and warm smile will be remembered by everyone whose life she touched. A celebration of Tamika's life will be held on May 16th 2026 where family and friends will gather to honor a woman whose love and dedication left an indelible mark on the world. Her legacy of kindness, love, and strength will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know and love her. Tamika Moore will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us all.
