Her life was one of selflessness and grace, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tamie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Teruso, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered around love and family, which remained her guiding light throughout her days. She is survived by her devoted children Katsunori, Sharon, George (Jane), and Raymond (Julie), who will carry forward her teachings and values. An exemplary Japanese cook, Tamie had the remarkable ability to recreate authentic Japanese dishes that enchanted and nourished the souls of her family and friends. Her culinary creations were a testament to her rich heritage and her generous spirit. Beyond her many talents and accomplishments, it was Tamie's big heart and selflessness that left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a beacon of kindness, always putting others before herself, and her home was a sanctuary of warmth and compassion. Her gentle nature and unwavering support made her a steadfast friend and confidante to many. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Tamie’s life. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff of Journeycare Hospice in Barrington, Illinois, for their compassionate care and unwavering support during Tamie's final days.
