It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tameka Nicole Reynolds, who peacefully departed this life on July 17, 2026, at Broward Health Medical Center. Born on October 3, 1979, in Kenansville, NC, Tameka lived a life full of love, dedication, and joy, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Tameka was the cherished daughter of Edith Williams and the late Johnl Reynolds. She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Jannie Mathis, and her father, Johnl Reynolds. Her memory will continue to live on through her dear mother, Edith, and her treasured siblings, Precious D. Reynolds and Kevin D. Reynolds. Tameka's journey in life was one marked by incredible dedication and hard work. She devoted over 18 years of her career to the United States Postal Service, where she was known not only for her diligence but also for the love and kindness she extended to her colleagues and the community. Those who knew Tameka will remember her as a woman of outstanding character. Her compassionate heart, generous spirit, and infectious smile were just a few of the qualities that defined her. Tameka had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her resilience, kindness, and selfless nature served as an inspiration to those around her. Outside of her professional life, Tameka found joy in spending quality time with her family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. She had a passion for music, traveling, and exploring new culinary experiences. Tameka was also a gifted cook and decorator, who loved to host gatherings that were always filled with laughter and warmth. Her vibrant personality and love for bringing people together made every occasion special. Above all else, Tameka cherished her family. She believed in showing her love through her actions, offering encouragement when it was needed most, and always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Her beautiful spirit and enduring legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A service to honor and celebrate Tameka's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Valles Funeral Homes & Crematory, located at 12830 NW 42nd Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Tameka. The family of Tameka Nicole Reynolds extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered love, prayers, support, and words of comfort during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a source of strength and comfort as we celebrate Tameka's life and honor her memory.
