In Loving Memory

Taiveon Carter
February 10, 2004 — June 12, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Taiveon Carter, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world unexpectedly on June 12, 2026, at the age of 22. Taiveon was born on February 10, 2004, in the picturesque city of Annapolis, Maryland, where he spent his entire life surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Taiveon was the cherished son of Trish Carter and the late Kaleb Smith. He was a devoted brother to Cadence Smith and Carter Smith, and a beloved grandson to Clearland Carter. Preceded in death by his father Kaleb Smith, grandparents Eric and Pamela Turner, and his uncle Steven Lavell Carter, Taiveon is now reunited with those he loved dearly.
A graduate of North County High School in June 2022, Taiveon was known for his unwavering kindness and generosity. He possessed a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, leaving an indelible mark on all those who were fortunate enough to know him. His gentle spirit and warm heart touched countless lives, and he will be fondly remembered for his ability to spread joy and kindness wherever he went.
Taiveon found joy in the simpler things in life. He had a fondness for old cartoons, often losing himself in the whimsical adventures of Tom and Jerry or the thrilling exploits of the Power Rangers. A true lover of learning, Taiveon frequented the local library three to four times a week, where he could often be found immersed in a book, exploring new worlds and ideas.
As we gather to celebrate Taiveon's life, we invite family and friends to join us in honoring his memory on June 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at WM. Reese and Sons Mortuary, located at 1922 Forest Dr., Annapolis, MD 21401. Together, we will share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering the joy Taiveon brought into our lives and the love he shared so freely.
In this time of sorrow, let us hold onto the beautiful memories Taiveon has left us, cherishing the legacy of love and kindness he imparted to all. May his gentle soul find peace, and may we find comfort in knowing that he will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Taiveon. You will be missed more than words can express, but your spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those you touched.
