Suzy Davis
September 27, 1955 — June 13, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Suzy Lee Davis, on June 13, 2026. Suzy departed this world surrounded by her family at home after courageously battling multiple illnesses. She was 70 years old.
Suzy was born on September 27, 1955, in the small town of Sargent, Nebraska, to Donny and Marjorie Anderson. After Marjorie's early passing, Don moved to Idaho with his oldest son Butch and Suzy. Don then married Virginia Anderson and they created a even bigger family which included siblings Gail, Danny and Linda. The Anderson family instilled in Suzy the values of compassion and resilience which she carried with her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her Brother Butch Anderson and Parents Donny and Marjorie Anderson.
In 1973, Suzy graduated from Glenns Ferry High School and soon after moved to Boise, Idaho, to begin a new chapter. It was there that she connected with the love of her life, Greg Davis, and they married on February 15, 1975. Together, they shared 51 wonderful years filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. Suzy and Greg were known for their shared love of camping, riding horses, snowmobiling and many other various outdoor activities. Their active involvement in the Boise Snowmobile Club brought them countless hours of joy as they snowmobiled with friends. Another passion of theirs was attending various car shows with Suzy driving her Yellow T-bucket that Greg built himself.
Suzy dedicated many years to nurturing and caring for children, running a daycare from home where she treated each child as her own. Her career later led her to work in vocational rehabilitation and as a medical transcriptionist, showcasing her remarkable typing skills.
A woman of many talents, Suzy found joy in canning vegetables from her garden, creating beautiful quilts, and expressing herself through crochet and knitting. Her beautiful singing voice often filled her home with warmth, and she was a wonderful pianist. Above all, Suzy treasured the time spent with her granddaughter Nova Cowley, who was the light of her life. Their bond was beautiful filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.
Suzy's unwavering commitment to community was evident in her involvement with the Boise Snowmobile Club, where she helped organize fundraisers for needy families and worked at the Boise County Snow Groomer’s fun run station. Her selflessness and dedication to those she loved were hallmarks of her character.
Suzy leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of her surviving family: her devoted husband, Greg Davis; her beloved son, Dustin Davis; her cherished daughter, Crystal Cowley (SIL Kris Cowley) and her precious granddaughter, Nova Cowley. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cared for them with the utmost devotion.
Suzy’s passing leaves a void that will never be filled. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain a guiding light for all who knew and loved her.
