Suzanne Allen Fouche, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Humboldt, Tennessee, on January 6, 1951, Suzanne was the cherished daughter of Buddy and Sue Allen. She embodied grace, warmth, and determination throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Peabody High School in 1969 and Memphis State in 1972, Suzanne dedicated her career to service, working tirelessly at the Memphis Park Commission. Her work with mobile units and the summer lunch program touched countless lives, embodying her unwavering belief in the importance of community support and nourishment.
On November 11, 1977, Suzanne married the love of her life, Bob Fouche. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Bob preceded her in death, as did her beloved brother Marvin Allen and her parents. Despite these profound losses, Suzanne's spirit remained unbroken, a testament to her resilience and enduring love.
Suzanne's life was marked by her extraordinary ability to connect with others. She truly never met a stranger, and her warm, friendly nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her charm and determination were matched only by her deep compassion and unwavering support for her family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her daughter Leslie and son-in-law John Ferraro, her son Robert Allen, and her adored grandchildren, Jack and Isabella (Izzy), along with her bonus grandson, Tyler Ferraro. Suzanne's family was the pride and joy of her life, and her love for them was boundless and unconditional.
A celebration of Suzanne's remarkable life will be held on May 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home, located at 5668 Poplar Avenue. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on all our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Baddour Center, an organization close to Suzanne's heart, in her memory. Suzanne Allen Fouche's life was a testament to the power of kindness, resilience, and love. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, serving as a guiding light for all who knew her.
