Susannah was born on October 28, 1949, in the vibrant heart of Freetown, Sierra Leone, to her loving parents, Francis Renike Mason and Iris Abiodue Allen. She was a beacon of light and strength to all who knew her, embodying a legacy of kindness, humor, generosity, and her unforgettable warm smile. Susannah's life was a tapestry of love and laughter, woven together by her many roles as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel M. Koroma, her cherished parents, and her dear grandson, Isaiah Koroma-Crawford. She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her memory: her children Yonita Koroma-Logan, Dannia Koroma, and Abu Bakarr Koroma; her grandchildren C. William Logan, Ava Logan, Daniel Koroma, and Michaella Perry; and her great-grandchildren Micah Black and Genesis Logan. She is also survived by her siblings Cyril Mason, Bernard Mason, Arnold Mason, Alex Mason, Francis A. Mason, Iyamide Rose Roberts, Yvonne Mason, and Theresa Sarah Mason. Susannah's career was marked by her dedication and grace, spending 23 fruitful years at the Washington Marriott. Her colleagues and guests alike were touched by her exceptional work ethic and her natural ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her. Her presence transformed the workplace into a second home for many. Beyond her professional life, Susannah was a passionate traveler, always eager to explore new lands and savor diverse cuisines. Her adventurous spirit took her across continents, and her stories of these journeys were as rich and varied as the dishes she loved to try. Susannah's curiosity and appreciation for the world's cultures were infectious, encouraging those around her to embrace life's adventures with open arms. Above all, Susannah was a woman of immense compassion and warmth. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was always ready with a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand.
