Susan Renee Stark

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Renee Stark, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on June 22, 2026. Born on April 19, 1968, in Flatwoods, Louisiana, and later residing in Colfax, Louisiana, Susan brought light and laughter to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Susan was a woman of extraordinary kindness, compassion, and generosity. Her love for animals was boundless, and her pets were cherished members of her family. In her beautiful garden, she found peace and joy, tending to her flowers with the same care and devotion she showed to her loved ones. Her lively spirit and vibrant sense of humor made her the life of every gathering, bringing smiles and laughter to all. Known for her gentle and kind soul, Susan was always ready to lend a helping hand. She put others before herself, offering comfort and support whenever it was needed. Her warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and her caring nature will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and neighbors alike. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Ray and Betty Sue Setliff, and her brothers, Robbie and Dennis Setliff. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sons Ted Brou (Marianne), Jamie Edwards, and Jeffery Edwards; her daughter, Tequila Brou; her brother, Greg Setliff; and her four adored grandchildren, Faith, Chyanne, Gracelyn, and Jenna. Susan's life will be celebrated in a service on July 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Pinecoupee Pentecostal Church, located at 299 Pine Coupee Rd, Flatwoods, LA 71427. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor the life of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of so many. Though she is no longer with us, Susan's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
