It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Susan Patricia Mulcahy, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Susan departed this world on March 8, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Born on October 28, 1953, in Beacon, New York, Susan was the cherished daughter of Earl and Joan Warren, both of whom preceded her in death. From a young age, Susan embodied warmth and compassion, qualities that would define her life and the relationships she nurtured. Susan's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, whom she always held at the center of her universe. She shared over five decades of marriage with her devoted husband, Joseph Mulcahy. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and a commitment to one another that served as a beacon of partnership and devotion. Their union brought forth four wonderful children: Timothy Mulcahy, Tammy Cerone, Tara Re, and Tracey Mulcahy, each of whom inherited her gentle spirit and empathetic nature. In addition to her children, Susan leaves behind a loving web of family that includes her siblings, Thomas Warren, Michael Warren, and Rhonda Warren, as well as her cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her six grandchildren will always remember their grandmother's stories, hugs, and the unfaltering love she bestowed upon them, guiding them as they grow into adulthood with the same grace she exemplified. Susan's heart was her greatest gift, and she shared it freely with all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether gathering for family dinners, holiday celebrations, or simple conversations over coffee, Susan's joy for life and love for her family were palpable. Her home was always open to friends and family alike, a haven where laughter and love were in abundant supply. Her interests were simple yet profound, with her greatest joy found in the company of her loved ones. Susan believed in the power of togetherness and cherished every moment spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come. As we reflect on Susan's life, we remember her as a woman of quiet strength and boundless love, who taught us the importance of kindness, empathy, and the enduring power of family. Her spirit will continue to watch over her family, guiding them with the same love and wisdom she shared during her lifetime. A private family service will be held to honor Susan's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Susan's name, as a way to continue her legacy of helping others. Susan Patricia Mulcahy's life was a testament to the beauty of love and family. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will forever live in the hearts of those she touched.
