Susan passed peacefully on April 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with a heart condition and multiple strokes. Throughout her life, she exemplified strength, love, and unwavering grace, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Susan was the beloved wife of Michael Malloy, whom she married in April 1994. They remained devoted partners until Michael's passing on May 12, 2026. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and shared memories, standing by each other's side through life's joys and challenges.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy, who affectionately called her "Pops", and son-in-law, Jim. Susan's legacy of love continues through her three grandsons—Timothy, with his wife Calliegh, Benjamin, and Jonathon—and her nine cherished great-grandchildren. Her brother, Bob Malloy, also survives her, alongside several nieces, nephews, and a multitude of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Susan's Arizona family—Phil, Debi, Dorthy, Judy, and Margie, along with their children—also mourn her passing.

She proudly attained the rank of E-6, demonstrating a steadfast dedication to her country.
Following her military service, Susan applied her skills as an electrician and maintenance supervisor at an assisted living facility and hospital in the Phoenix area. She also contributed her talents to the Arizona School District and Home Depot, touching lives with her professionalism and kindness.
Susan was an active member of her communities, attending Gold Canyon Methodist Church in Arizona for many years before relocating to Lubbock, Texas, in 2021, where she found a spiritual home at Maranatha Tabernacle. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she shared her compassion and warmth with all who knew her.
An artist at heart, Susan found joy in numerous craft activities, from painting porcelain to her favorite pastime of glass fusing. Her artistic spirit was matched by her playful nature and infectious humor, endearing her to family and friends alike.
