It is with heavy hearts and deep appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Susan K. Price, who departed this world on April 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Susan passed peacefully in Rolla, Missouri, with her beloved daughter, Lorrie Morey, by her side. Born on June 26, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, to Glenn and Martha Core, Susan was a beacon of love and generosity from the very start. A proud graduate of Devilbis High School, Susan's life was a testament to hard work, kindness, and devotion to family and friends. Susan was the cherished wife of the late Ronald A. Price and is now reunited with him and her siblings, Glenn I. Core, Barbara A. Divine, and Mariann Conway, in eternal peace. Her gentle spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her daughter Lorrie, her granddaughter Tiffany Dewey, and her great-grandson, Andrew Dewey. Susan's legacy of love and generosity will undoubtedly live on in their hearts. Throughout her career, Susan displayed remarkable dedication and professionalism. She spent many years working at Lasalle's in Toledo before moving to Florida, where she retired from a successful career in banking with Regions Bank. Her colleagues and clients alike admired her unwavering work ethic and generous spirit. After retirement, Susan embraced a life filled with simple joys and meaningful connections. She relished spending time with her family and friends, nurturing her garden, feeding the birds, and caring for her cherished cats. Her love for animals and nature was a reflection of her gentle soul and the kindness she extended to all living beings. Those who knew Susan knew her as a woman of unparalleled generosity. She was selfless to a fault, always ready to give without hesitation—often before the need was even voiced. Her compassion and willingness to help others were hallmarks of her character, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. As we say goodbye to Susan, we remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was rich with love, laughter, and the boundless joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding us to live with the same grace and generosity she embodied every day of her life. A private celebration of Susan's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her extraordinary journey and the love she so freely shared. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan's name to a local animal shelter or a charity of your choice, reflecting her life-long love for animals and her spirit of giving. Susan K. Price will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
