November 9, 1969 — July 19, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on July 19, 2026, at the age of 56. Susan was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by her unwavering courage, infectious joy, and boundless love for her family and friends. Born on November 9, 1969, in Los Angeles, Susan was the cherished daughter of Edgar and Virginia. She was predeceased by her father, Edgar Lee, who she always remembered with deep affection. Susan is survived by her devoted mother, Virginia; her loving husband, Doug, with whom she shared nearly three decades of marriage; her treasured daughter, Isabella; and her adored granddaughter, Meadow. Susan and Doug's journey together began on July 27, 1996, when they united in marriage, embarking on a life filled with shared dreams and adventures. Susan's work as a veterinary assistant was not just a job but a calling that she pursued with passion and compassion, as long as her health allowed. Her love for animals and her gentle touch made her a favorite among both her colleagues and the creatures she cared for. A woman of many interests, Susan found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in adventures, often finding solace and wonder in the beauty of nature. An avid bird watcher, she could spend hours marveling at the grace and freedom of her feathered friends. Her days were incomplete without working through a puzzle, a hobby that showcased her keen mind and patient spirit. Throughout her life, Susan possessed an extraordinary gift for bringing light to even the darkest moments. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence was a beacon of hope for those around her. She was a fierce advocate for her loved ones, always standing by them with unwavering support and love. Susan's life will be celebrated on July 22, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at the family ranch located at 3815 Valle Del Sol. Friends and family are warmly invited to join us in honoring Susan's remarkable life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan's memory to Race To Erase MS, based in Encino, CA. This organization was dear to Susan's heart, and contributions will help further the cause she cared about deeply. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Susan's dedicated care team, whose compassion and expertise provided immense comfort during her battle with Multiple Sclerosis. They also wish to acknowledge the presence of God, whose strength and grace were felt throughout every step of Susan's journey. Susan Elizabeth's legacy of love, courage, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in her extraordinary life.
