May 5, 1957 — March 18, 2026

It is with heartfelt sadness and profound love that we share the passing of Susan E. (Farley) Corner, who departed this world peacefully on March 18, 2026, at the age of 68. Susan was surrounded by her family and the gentle care of hospice in her final days, a testament to the profound love she gave and received throughout her life. Born on May 5, 1957, in the close-knit community of Bristol, Pennsylvania, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Edward Farley and Frances (McKenna) Farley. From her early years, Susan's vibrant spirit and indomitable will were evident to all who knew her. Susan was preceded in death by her cherished parents and her devoted spouse, David Corner. Together, Susan and David built a life filled with laughter, love, and resilience, a partnership that continued to inspire those around them long after David's passing. Known affectionately as "Sue," Susan was a woman of undeniable strength and authenticity. Her words, "My name is Sue and now I’m gone, I left my name to carry on. Those who knew me knew me well, and those who didn’t can go to hell," capture the essence of her spirited and unapologetic nature. She was someone who embraced life fully and encouraged others to do the same. Above all, Susan was a dedicated and loving mother to her daughters, Melissa Shultz and BillieJo Costello. Her legacy lives on in them and in her many grandchildren, whom she adored and filled with her boundless love and wisdom. Susan's family was her pride and joy, and she nurtured these relationships with a warmth and generosity that will be missed but forever remembered. Susan is also survived by her beloved sisters, who stood by her side through all of life's joys and challenges. The bond they shared was a source of strength and comfort, woven with shared memories, laughter, and love. To her friends and community, Susan was a beacon of authenticity and kindness, always ready with a listening ear or a word of encouragement. Her impact on those around her was profound and enduring, ensuring that her spirit will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege to know her. As we celebrate Susan's life, we reflect on the lessons she taught us: to live boldly, love deeply, and embrace each moment with passion and purpose. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit and legacy live on in the hearts of those she touched. A memorial service to honor Susan's life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a hospice care organization of your choice, in gratitude for the compassionate care Susan received in her final days. Susan E. (Farley) Corner will be remembered as a loving mother, cherished sister, devoted friend, and a remarkable woman whose legacy will continue to inspire. May her soul find peace and her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
