Susan Beth Carter, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on December 15, 1963, in Borger, Texas, Susan was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. Susan was the cherished daughter of Herbert Alexander and Bessie Wells, who predeceased her, along with her dear aunt and uncle, Bob and Vinnie Alexander. She is survived by her devoted husband, Glenn Carter Jr, with whom she shared over 46 years of a loving marriage, having wed on February 16, 1980. A devoted Christian, Susan was a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took immense joy in their company. Susan leaves behind her beloved children: Jessica Foust, Jeremy Carter, Christy Carter, and Misty Carter, who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy is further carried on by her 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life. Susan is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Jeffery and Michael Alexander, and her cousin, Vicki Sheets, whom she thought of as a sister. Susan was a talented cosmetologist and an amazing cake decorator, known for her ability to bring beauty and joy into the lives of those around her. Her cakes were not just confections but expressions of love, baked with care for her friends and family. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. A private funeral ceremony will be held in her honor, allowing her family and close friends to celebrate her life in an intimate setting. Susan Beth Carter's spirit will forever be a source of inspiration and love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
