Sue Harris Roberts

Sue Roberts, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on October 6, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, Sue was the cherished daughter of the late Roy Lee Harris and Annie Marie Harris. She was also predeceased by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Katherine Roberts. Sue's life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1962, and her passion for learning led her to earn a bachelor's degree in education from Howard Payne University in 1968. Sue dedicated more than 30 years of her life to teaching, leaving an indelible mark on countless students who were fortunate enough to learn from her. Sue was an active and devoted member of Victory Baptist Church, where her faith and warm spirit touched many lives. She was known for her love of Jesus and her eagerness to share her faith with anyone willing to listen. Her involvement in the church was a cornerstone of her life, and her presence in the congregation will be deeply missed. A woman of many talents, Sue found immense joy in sewing and crocheting, often creating beautiful handmade treasures that she lovingly shared with family and friends. She was an avid reader whose home was filled with books that reflected her curiosity and love of learning. Sue also had a special fondness for coffee, which she often enjoyed while sharing laughter and meaningful conversations with those she loved.
