Stuart Turner

May 13, 1975 — June 4, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Turner, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Stuart left this world on June 4, 2026, at the age of 51, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 13, 1975, in the vibrant town of Clarendon, Jamaica, Stuart was the cherished son of the late George Turner and Hazel Edwards. Stuart was a man of immense talent and passion, especially when it came to his culinary skills. As a chef, he delighted in creating dishes that brought joy and comfort to those around him. His love for cooking was not just a career, but a calling that allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. His kitchen was a place where laughter was shared, stories were told, and hearts were warmed. In addition to his culinary pursuits, Stuart had an insatiable wanderlust. Traveling was more than just a hobby; it was a way for him to experience the world and gather stories and flavors that he would later recreate in his dishes. His journeys took him to many places, each adventure adding a new chapter to his life’s story. Stuart was a family man at heart, deeply devoted to his cherished wife, Marva Gayle. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter, raising two wonderful daughters, Chriscene Turner and Crystal Turner. Stuart's legacy lives on through them and his treasured grandson, Kailan Turner, who was a source of immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Suzonne Turner and Stacey Turner, and his brothers, Nickain Morgan, Lincoln Morgan, Uvince Hall, Sunll McCloud, and Fabian Forrester. Stuart shared a special bond with each of them, creating a network of family ties that was unbreakable. His life was further enriched by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends who will miss him dearly. Stuart's life, though not measured in years but in the depth of his love and the breadth of his kindness, was a testament to the impact one person can have on the lives of many. Though he has left this world, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Stuart’s memory to a charity close to his heart. Please contact the family for more information. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
