Stuart Joseph Page Jr.

January 21, 1952 — June 27, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Joseph Page Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who departed this life on June 27, 2026, at the age of 74, due to heart failure. Born on January 21, 1952, in Richmond, VA, Stuart lived a life full of love, laughter, and service. Stuart was the cherished son of the late Stuart Joseph Page Sr. and Francis Elizabeth Page, who instilled in him values of strength and resilience. He was also predeceased by his beloved daughter, Jeannie Marie Page, who remained close to his heart throughout his life. In 1970, Stuart answered the call of duty and joined the United States Army, where he was stationed in the brisk and breathtaking lands of Alaska. It was there that he earned his GED, a testament to his dedication and determination. His military service was a point of pride and a defining chapter in his life. For 30 years, Stuart made a significant impact at James River Paper, where he was not only a dedicated employee but also a mentor and friend to many. His work ethic and loyalty were unmatched, and his colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and kindness. In 1985, Stuart married the love of his life, Teresa Marie Page. Together, they built a beautiful family, nurturing and guiding their children, Tracy Page Young (Cedric), Tyler Aaron Page (Jack), and Cameron Vince Page (Bill), with love and wisdom. His legacy lives on in his grandchildren, Shawndell D. Johnson, Tre'Quan L. Johnson (Kiera), Alexis L. Page Lilly, and Derrick Spivey Jr., as well as his great-grandchildren, Olivia, Serenity, Arianna, Aubrey, and Kamdyn, who brought immense joy to his life. Stuart was a man who loved to talk and joke, bringing laughter and joy to all who knew him. He had a profound passion for sports, particularly admiring legends like Mickey Mantle, Tom Brady, and Larry Bird. His love for baseball extended beyond appreciation, as he was an active member of the Rotary Club of Richmond for several years, where he shared his passion and commitment to community service. Beyond his accomplishments and interests, Stuart will be remembered for his warmth, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his stories, jokes, and the genuine interest he took in their lives. A service to honor and celebrate Stuart's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering a man who lived his life with joy and purpose. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Stuart's memory to a charity of choice, as a way to continue his legacy of giving and compassion. Stuart Joseph Page Jr.'s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing he made a difference in the lives of many and will be missed beyond measure.
