Stuart's life was marked by dedication to his family, his career, and his passions. A proud graduate of Western Hills High School in 1946, Stuart furthered his education at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Master's degree in Geology in 1951. Stuart's legacy is carried forward by his children, Ann Kerr Money, Thomas Kerr, Kelsie Kerr, and Elizabeth Kerr. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Jonathan Kerr, Sean and Dylan Money, Regan and Marlo Kerr, and Ella Heckert. Stuart's heart was further filled with joy by the arrival of his great-grandchildren, Camri Kerr and Hank Ross. Stuart was an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the Society for Sedimentary Geology (SEPM), and the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists (RMAG).
