In Loving Memory of Steven Wayne Flemins It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Steven Wayne Flemins. Born on August 13, 2009, Steven graced this world with his presence for just 16 short years before leaving us suddenly on March 23, 2026. Steven was a gentle soul with a spirit as vibrant as the melodies he loved to play on his guitar. A talented musician, Steven found solace and joy in the strumming of strings, his music echoing the depth of his compassionate heart. His love for golf was matched only by his passion for Oklahoma University football, where he found community and excitement in every game, cheering for his favorite team with an infectious enthusiasm that could light up any room. Those who knew Steven were touched by his kindness and humor, qualities that made him a cherished friend to many. His older sister, Tonya, was not only his sibling but his best friend and confidante. Their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the love and support that defined their relationship. Together, they shared countless memories filled with laughter, adventure, and an unspoken understanding that comes from the deepest of connections. Though Steven's life was far too brief, the impact he made on those around him was immeasurable. His presence was a beacon of warmth, and his absence leaves a void that can never truly be filled. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the joy he brought into our lives, remembering him for his kindness, his love for music and sports, and the happiness he found in the simplest of moments. Steven leaves behind a family who adored him: his parents, his cherished sister Tonya, and a community of friends who were privileged to know him. In this time of sorrow, we hold each other close, finding comfort in the shared memories of a young man who was deeply loved and who will be forever missed. A private service will be held to honor Steven's life, allowing those closest to him to say their goodbyes in a setting of peace and reflection. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Steven's memory to organizations supporting mental health awareness and suicide prevention, causes dear to his heart. As we say goodbye to Steven, we hold onto the love he left behind. May his soul find the peace he sought, and may we all find solace in the beautiful legacy of kindness and joy he gifted to us. Rest in peace, dear Steven. You will always be in our hearts.
