Steven was the beloved son of Wally and Deb Bowers and was predeceased by his mother, Deb, whose memory he cherished dearly. He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Rebecca, whose partnership with Steven was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect. Together, they built a beautiful life, welcoming two wonderful children, Nicholas and Lilyana, who were the light of Steven's life. His children will continue to carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
In addition to his immediate family, Steven leaves behind his sister, Kris Janssen, her husband Marc, and thier two daughters, Kiera and Danica, who adored their uncle for his warm smile and fun-loving spirit. He is also survived by his father, Wally, and his grandmother, Betty Sawyer, both of whom held a special place in his heart.
A proud graduate of Kearsarge Regional High School, Steven's education was the foundation for his career, though it was his personal qualities that truly defined him. With a career at Student Transportation of America, Steven was known for his dedication and hard work, spending a year and a half contributing to the community he loved so much.
Steven had a passion for the great outdoors, finding joy in fishing and hunting, pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace. In recent years, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, no matter the activity. Whether it was a simple backyard barbecue or a family game night, Steven's presence made every moment special.
Those who knew Steven remember him for his kindness, his warm smile, and his fun personality. He had an innate ability to make others feel comfortable and valued, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
