Steven Stage
July 30, 1968 — March 11, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Steven Stage, who left this world peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 57 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on July 30, 1968, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Steven was a beacon of kindness and passion, traits that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Steven was the cherished son of Robert and Carol Stage, who instilled in him the values of integrity and compassion that he carried throughout his life. Though preceded in death by his infant sister, Julie Marie, Steven's spirit was one of resilience and love, which he generously shared with everyone he met.
A devoted father, Steven is survived by his beloved children, Samantha and Anthony Stage, who were the light of his life. His legacy continues through them and his two adored grandchildren, who will grow up with stories of their grandfather's kindness and adventurous spirit.
Steven spent his career at Circuit Check Headquarters in Maple Grove, MN, where he was respected not only for his professional acumen but also for the warmth and camaraderie he brought to the workplace. His colleagues remember him as a passionate and dedicated individual, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word.
Outside of work, Steven found peace and joy in the great outdoors. An avid camper and hiker, he cherished the moments spent immersed in nature, finding solace and inspiration in its beauty. Those who accompanied him on his outdoor adventures will remember his awe for the world around him and his deep appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.
Steven's life will be celebrated at a service on March 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish, located at 11700 293 Ave, Princeton, MN. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Steven are invited to join in honoring his memory.
Though Steven's journey on this earth has ended, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. His kindness, passion, and love for life have left an indelible mark on the world, reminding us all of the power of a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Steven's memory to organizations dedicated to lung cancer research, in hopes that others may find hope and healing in the battle that Steven faced with such courage.
