It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Ray Dobson, a beloved son, brother, and father, who departed this world on August 16, 2026. Born on May 2, 1975, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Steven graced the world with his presence for 51 years, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.
Steven was the cherished son of Connie Ruth Lawson-Shepherd and the late Jerry Ray Dobson, as well as the stepson of the late Allan Wayne Lambert. He is survived by his devoted mother, Connie Shepherd, who was a constant source of support and strength in his life. He will also be deeply missed by his loving sister, Cathey Carrillo, and his adored children, Laney Dobson and Aiden Dobson, who were the pride and joy of his life.
A man of many talents and passions, Steven held a CDL Certification and was a true enthusiast of muscle cars and motorcycles. His love for these powerful machines was a reflection of his vibrant spirit and zest for life. Steven was a loyal and forgiving soul, always ready with a joke and a warm smile. His good sense of humor and outgoing nature endeared him to many, and he had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went. His capacity to help anyone in need was a testament to his generous heart.
Steven's life was a tapestry woven with moments of laughter and camaraderie, and he leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. Though he did not have grandchildren, his legacy lives on through the love he imparted to his children.
As we say goodbye to Steven, let us remember him for the joy he brought into our lives and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will forever guide and inspire us.
