Steven Nelson

October 10, 1950 — August 23, 2026

Steven Nelson, or Starvos to his family, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026. He was born on October 10, 1950 in Boston, Massachusetts. Steve was the type of guy that was noticed when he walked into the room. It could have been that his personality was larger than life, it could have been his Greek good-looks, or that he was 6’7” tall. He was a jokester. It was a guarantee that he was bringing a joke, a look, or a laugh into every situation, and somehow bubble were involved…Above all, Steve was a family man. He was a strong, affectionate husband, a father that was active with his children. As the family photographer, there is a glimpse at what he thought was special, and who he cherished. He enjoyed the beach (any beach) and enjoyed touring the lighthouses along the shores. Steve is survived by his wife, Marcelle Brien; son, Thomas Nelson; daughter, Patricia Nelson; daughter, Karen Bergeron; daughter, Kimberly Hovey (husband, Billy Hovey); brother, Charlie Nelson (wife, Beverly Nelson); grandson, Charles Wright, III. (wife, Grace Wright); grandson, Daniel Wright (wife, Taylor Wright); granddaughter, Hope Demers; granddaughter, Victoria Dunham; granddaughter, Harleigh Hovey; great grandchildren, Alaiyah, Jayce, and baby Penelope; and other extended family and friends.

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see, if the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand.

Special Thanks

The family of our loved one extends heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, support, and kindness during this time.
