In Loving Memory of Steven Charles Lenard It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven Charles Lenard, who left us on July 15, 2026, at the age of 33. Born on August 31, 1992, in Alvarado, Texas, Steven was a cherished son, father, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his bright spirit and warm heart. Steven was the beloved son of Steven "Bubba" Lenard and Annette LaFountain. He is survived by his devoted parents, his dear children Serenity, Jason, and Charles David Lenard, his ex-wife Bobbie Lenard, and his siblings Anthony Cole Stapp, Ashley Mae Holden, Summer and husband Charles "CJ" Smith Jr., as well as his bonus mother Shannon Layne and bonus brothers Anthony Layne his wife Kymie and Joshua Layne. Steven will also be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Steven. Steven was predeceased by both sets of his grandparents, Nana & Papa Jesse, Grandma LaFountain & Papa LaFountain, and his beloved daughter, Rebecca Lynn, who passed away shortly after birth. Despite the challenges he faced, Steven was a beacon of light and strength to those around him. A proud alumnus of Alvarado High School, it was there that Steven met Bobbie, with whom he shared a journey of love and growth, becoming young parents together and bringing four beautiful children into the world. Their love story, though it ended in divorce, was marked by resilience and shared joy. Steven's life was centered around his family. He found immense joy in family gatherings, barbecues, and outdoor adventures such as hunting, fishing, and mudding. A lover of football and video games, Steven relished every opportunity to bond with his sons, teaching them life skills and the values of hard work and integrity. His love for the road and working on trucks echoed his zest for life and adventure. His presence was a gift to all who knew him. Known for his infectious smile, comforting hugs, and protective nature, Steven was a man who cared deeply for those around him. His ability to bring warmth and laughter to any room will be sorely missed. A celebration of Steven's life will be held on July 21, 2026, at 2PM at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home, located at 200 E Patton Ave, Alvarado, TX 76009. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life Steven lived and the legacy he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Steven's memory, as a testament to his generous spirit and the love he shared with the world.
