It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Steven Chambers, who departed from this world on May 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on February 12, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan, Steven was a beacon of joy and laughter in the short time he graced our lives. Steven was the cherished son of the late Roy and Nequia Chambers, who predeceased him, along with his beloved siblings: John, Christian, and Cleveland Chambers, and his dear sisters, Jourdyn Chambers and Daylin Chambers. Though his time with us was brief, Steven's presence left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. From the moment he entered the world, Steven was known for his quick wit and warm smile. He had an innate ability to bring light and laughter into any room, effortlessly spreading joy to those around him. His life, though short, was a testament to the beauty of living with a full heart and a generous spirit. A service to celebrate Steven’s life will be held on June 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Church - God In Christ, located at 12930 Joy Rd, Detroit, MI 48228. Family, friends, and all those touched by Steven’s warmth and humor are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the joy he brought into our lives. In this time of mourning, the Chambers family extends their deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff at Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care and unwavering support during Steven’s battle. Their kindness and professionalism provided comfort during difficult times, and for that, the family is eternally grateful.
