Steven Brinkman

Steven Brinkman, a cherished father and beloved friend, passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on September 1, 1967, in Hollywood, Florida, Steven was the son of John and Gertrude Brinkman. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael Brinkman. He is survived by his two daughters, Jenifer and Sarah Brinkman, his mother since his teens, Christine Brinkman, and his brothers, Todd and Paul Stempien. Throughout his life, Steven was known for his warmth and generosity. As a dedicated pipe fitter, he spent many years working diligently in his profession, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Yet, it was outside of work where Steven truly shone. His love for gardening filled his life with vibrant colors and tranquility, and he found immense joy in watching the birds flit about in the great outdoors. An amazing father, Steven devoted himself to his daughters, Jenifer and Sarah, instilling in them a love for nature and the great outdoors. He spent countless days taking them fishing, teaching them the patience and skill of the sport, and creating cherished memories. His culinary skills were another gift he shared with his family, always ensuring that gatherings were filled with delicious meals and laughter. Steven's kindness was a defining trait. He never met a stranger, and his friendly demeanor was a comfort to all who crossed his path. A gifted storyteller, Steven could captivate any audience with his tales, leaving them with smiles and fond memories. In his final act of generosity, Steven continued to touch lives through organ donation, helping 100 individuals with the precious gift of life. His compassion and selflessness will be remembered by many. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, honoring Steven's spirit of giving and kindness. Steven Brinkman will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
