In Loving Memory of Steve C Almond It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Steve C Almond, who departed this world on April 24, 2026, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on January 14, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, Steve was a beacon of kindness and joy, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Steve was the cherished husband of Linda Almond, with whom he shared 32 beautiful years of marriage. Their relationship, which began on April 15, 1994, was a testament to the power of love, filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep understanding that enriched the lives of all who knew them. Though his departure leaves a void that can never be filled, Steve's spirit lives on in the hearts of his surviving family members. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted spouse, Linda, his siblings Mickey and Lee McJunkin, Vicky and David Spears, and Judy and Jeff Gifford. His legacy also lives on through his granddaughter, Kristen Davis, and stepson, Michael Davis, who will forever cherish his memory. Additionally, his nieces Stephanie, Angela, Tina, and Tracy, along with his nephews Will, Wyatt, and Jeff, will continue to carry forward the lessons and love that Steve imparted upon them. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Claud and Mary Almond, his sister Mary Jordan, and his stepdaughter Michelle Davis. Though they have gone before him, the reunion they now share is one of peace and everlasting love. A man of strength and integrity, Steve was admired for his compassionate nature and the joy he brought into every room. His laughter was infectious, his wisdom unparalleled, and his presence a source of comfort and inspiration. In this time of mourning, we find solace in the love Steve shared and the lessons he imparted. A service to honor and celebrate Steve's life will be held on May 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at South Care, located at 595 Franklin Gateway, Marietta, Georgia 30067. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Steve are invited to join us in remembering a truly remarkable man. As we bid farewell to Steve C Almond, we hold close the memories and the love he bestowed upon us. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered with love and admiration. Rest in peace, dear Steve.
