In Loving Memory

Sterling Pulliam
March 16, 1970 — July 2, 2026
Sterling Lamont Pulliam, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 56 in Tucson, Arizona. Born on March 16, 1970, in Tucson, Sterling was the cherished son of Elnora Ann Charles and James Henry Pulliam, both of whom preceded him in death. His spirit now joins his beloved siblings, Denise Ann Martin and James Larcel "Mann" Pulliam, in eternal rest.
Sterling is survived by his devoted wife of 15 years, Rebecca Pulliam, and his loving family who carry forward his legacy. He leaves behind three brothers, Robert, Joseph, and Sonnel, who will forever hold his memory close. Sterling was a proud and nurturing father to his children, Kyre Austin, Keyera Austin, Ksaun Austin, Clifton Pulliam, and Rashed Pulliam, as well as his stepchildren, Leayanna Nunez and Michael Nunez. He was a cherished uncle to two nieces Ashlee Pulliam, Constance Pulliam, and one nephew Cory Pulliam. As a grandfather, Sterling found great joy and pride in his eight grandchildren, who brought light and laughter into his life.
Sterling was a man of many passions, with cooking at the heart of his soul. To him, preparing a meal was an art form and a means of bringing people together. His kitchen was a place where love was shared, and memories were made. He also found solace in fishing, as the serenity of the water and the thrill of the catch allowed him to connect with nature and himself. An aficionado of films and antiques, Sterling appreciated the stories and histories behind each piece in his collection.
Generous in spirit and strong in his convictions, Sterling was always ready to offer support and a helping hand to those in need. His kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, and his legacy of love and compassion will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
Services for Sterling L. Pulliam will be held at 11:00 AM on August 22, 2026, at Dominion International Ministers, located at 7100 S 12th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85756.
