Sterling L. Pulliam

March 16, 1970 — July 2, 2026

Sterling Lamont Pulliam, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away on July 2, 2026 at the age of 56 in Tucson, Az. Born on March 16, 1970 to Elnora Ann Charles and James Henry Pulliam both of whom preceded him in death. His spirit now joins his beloved siblings, Denise Ann Martin and James Larcel 'Mann' Pulliam. He leaves behind three brothers, Robert, Joseph and Soneel. For 15 beautiful years, Sterling shared his life with his devoted wife, Rebecca Pulliam. Together they build a family raising children, Kyre Austin, Keyera Austin, Ksaun Austin, Clifton Pulliam, Rashed Pulliam, and his stepchildren Leayanna Nunez and Michael Nunez. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren who brought immense joy and pride to his life. Sterling's love for cooking was more than just a hobby; it was a way to bring people together. He had an uncanny ability to transform simple ingredients into memorable meals, infused with love and seasoned with laughter. His kitchen was a place where stories were shared, bonds were strengthened, and hearts were nourished. Fishing was another passion that Sterling cherished deeply. The tranquility of being by the water, the anticipation of the catch, and the time spent in nature provided him with peace and joy. He also enjoyed watching movies and had a keen interest in collecting antiques, appreciating the stories and histories that held. He was a man that stood strong, both physically and in his convictions, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. As we say goodbye to this remarkable man, we celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the impact he left on our hearts. Rest in peace, Sterling L. Pulliam – you will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
