It is with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Stanton Thomas Daley on May 1, 2026. Stanton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, departed this world peacefully at his home in Andover, Massachusetts, surrounded by the love and warmth of his devoted family after courageously fighting a long illness. He was 83 years old. Born on April 6, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts, Stanton was the cherished son of the late Thomas and Eloise Daley. He was raised in a home filled with love, laughter, and the values that would shape the man he became. His great sense of humor and quick wit were hallmarks of his personality, endearing him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Stanton shared a beautiful journey of 51 years with his wife, Linda, whom he married and with whom he lovingly raised three daughters, Lisa Cordima (Dave), Andrea Duncanson (Chris), and Ashley Thibodeau (Matt). Together, they created a family home filled with cherished memories and a strong sense of belonging. Stanton was the proud grandfather of two adoring grandchildren, Riley Cordima and Nathan Cordima, who filled his later years with joy and laughter. Stanton was a dedicated professional, contributing many years of service to the Genetics Institute/Wyeth. His career was marked by hard work, integrity, and a commitment to excellence that earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his professional life, Stanton had a passion for music and was an avid enthusiast of New England sports. He found joy and adventure riding his BMW motorcycle, often accompanied by his lifelong friend, Gary Cross. Stanton's love for animals was evident to all who knew him, and his home was often filled with the companionship of beloved pets. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda, his daughters and their families, his brothers, Marc and Wayne Daley, and his lifelong friend, Gary Cross. Stanton is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Eloise Daley, who now welcome him into eternal peace. In honor of Stanton’s life and legacy, there will be a private funeral ceremony.
