Stanley Lynn Mcgee

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Stanley Lynn Mcgee on August 30, 2026, at her home. Born on May 2, 1947, in Montgomery,Alabama, Stanley's life was a tapestry of love, kindness, and success. Stanley was the cherished daughter of Russell Lowell Hall and Josie Lee Poole. She was predeceased by her beloved family members Edwin Lowell Hall, Gloria Caro, and Jo Ann Rowland. Her legacy of love continues through her surviving daughter, Shelley McConnell, and her chosen daughters Michelle Christy, Justina Brown, and Nicole Hood, as well as her nine treasured grandchildren. Additionally, she leaves behind her loving nieces and nephews: Kerry Rowland, Steve Rowland, James Rowland, Richard Rowland, Deb Zupan, Rusty Caro, Duke Caro, and Carol Caro Owens. Stanley was a trailblazer in the advertising industry. Her career began with her answering phones as a young woman, but her determination and talent quickly propelled her to the role of Vice President of Operations. Her professional journey was marked by her perseverance and her ability to connect with others, traits that she carried into all aspects of her life. Stanley's home was always brimming with love, laughter, and the gentle purrs of her cherished cats. Her love for animals was only overshadowed by her devotion to her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in bird watching and the warm company of her daughters, whom she adored and constantly reminded of her love. Her heart was as expansive as her spirit, and she was known for her ability to see the good in everyone. Stanley's home was open to many, and her nature was to adopt those she loved into her family, transforming an only child into the center of a large, loving family. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and her relationships with God and others were grounded . In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made Alzheimer’s Research. Stanley Lynn Mcgee's life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and resilience. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared in her lifetime.
