March 31, 1970 — April 16, 2026
In loving memory of Stanley L. Rodgers Jr., a man whose heart was as vast as the Arizona skies under which he was born, we remember and celebrate a life that was a testament to kindness, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family and community.
Stanley L. Rodgers Jr. was born on March 31, 1970, in the scenic city of Flagstaff, Arizona, to Stanley L. Rodgers Sr. and Lola Renee Fowler. A proud graduate of Page High School, Stan went on to build a successful career as a heavy equipment operator, a role he cherished deeply. For Stan, work was not just a means to an end; it was a passion that he pursued with the same fervor he brought to all aspects of his life.
On May 9, 1998, Stan married the love of his life, Kelly, embarking on a journey filled with laughter, love, and unwavering companionship. Together, they shared nearly 28 years of marriage, becoming not only partners but best friends and soulmates. Their union was blessed with a beautiful family, including children Kristopher Z. Rodgers, along with his daughters; Dyllon T. Rodgers, his wife Victoria, and their daughter; and Stormey D. Rodgers. Stan was also the proud grandfather to three cherished grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.
Stan was an avid outdoorsman, finding peace and fulfillment in the embrace of nature. Whether hunting or fishing with family and friends or tending to his beloved little family farm, Stan found solace and purpose in the great outdoors. He was well-known in his community for his boundless generosity, always eager to help neighbors with their ranches and farms, offering assistance without hesitation. His selfless nature was encapsulated in his readiness to give the shirt off his back, even if it were the last one he had.
With a warm smile and a twinkle in his eye, Stan had a unique ability to forge genuine connections with everyone he encountered. His humor was legendary, and he could always be counted on to share a joke, whether it was appropriate or not, bringing laughter and light to those around him. Stan was a man of integrity, his words backed by actions, always going above and beyond for the people he loved.
After a valiant and prolonged battle with cancer, Stan passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, at home, surrounded by the love of his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was 56 years old. Though his departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, the legacy of love, kindness, and strength he imparted will continue to inspire and guide all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Stan is survived by his beloved wife Kelly, his children Kristopher, Dyllon and wife Victoria, Stormey, and his grandchildren. He is also survived by an extended family composed of everyone he ever met, whose lives he touched profoundly with his warmth and generosity.
As we gather to celebrate Stan's life, we hold onto the memories of his laughter, his unwavering support, and the profound love he shared with all. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, as enduring as the Arizona landscapes he cherished.
Rest in peace, dear Stan. You will always be remembered, loved, and celebrated.
