With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Stanley Faison, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world on July 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Stanley was born on February 23, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Jane Young and Greg Faison. He lived a life full of love, resilience, and commitment, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Stanley's life was a testament to the love and dedication he had for his family. He shared a beautiful marriage with his loving wife, Kris Faison, whose unwavering support and companionship were a cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a family rich in love and laughter, raising six children: Libera, Mella, Tavia, Christin, Jack, and Kelson, who have all sadly predeceased him. His legacy lives on through his 16 cherished grandchildren, each a testament to his enduring spirit and the values he instilled in his family.
Stanley was also a beloved brother, predeceased by five brothers—Rick, Benny, Zach, Frank, and Lou—and three sisters—Michelle, Gale, and Anna. He was a man of great strength and character, always providing a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen. His sense of humor, kindness, and wisdom were gifts he generously shared with all.
His battle with cancer was marked by incredible bravery and grace, qualities that defined his life. Even in the face of adversity, Stanley remained a source of hope and inspiration to those around him. His steadfast faith and positive outlook never wavered, lighting the way for his loved ones to follow.
A service to celebrate Stanley's life will be held at Ridge Baptist Church, located at 2308 North Ave, Baltimore, MD 21210, on July 7, 2026, at 11:45 AM. Family and friends are welcome to join in honoring a life that was so well lived and to say farewell to a remarkable man who will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stanley's memory to a cancer research organization of your choice, reflecting his enduring spirit and commitment to finding a cure.
Stanley’s life was a beautiful journey, and while he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to guide us and inspire us every day.
