February 22, 1959 — April 25, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Stanley Campos, who left this world peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 67, in the comfort of his home. Stanley's journey ended after a courageous battle with illness, surrounded by the love of his devoted family. Stanley was born on February 22, 1959, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late Sally Mora Campos and Stanley Campos Sr. He carried his roots deeply, embodying the strength and warmth that his family instilled in him from a young age. Stanley was preceded in death by his cherished parents and his beloved son, Antonio Campos Maurice Romero. The memories of those who have gone before him remained close to his heart throughout his life. On June 6, 1990, Stanley married the love of his life, Dorothy Campos. Together, they built a beautiful life over their 35-year marriage, raising five children and welcoming twelve grandchildren. Dorothy was not only his partner in marriage but also his best friend and confidante. Their steadfast love and commitment to each other was a beacon of light for all who knew them. Stanley dedicated over 30 years of his life to his career as a water technician, where he was known for his exemplary work ethic and dedication. His colleagues admired him for his expertise and the genuine kindness he extended to everyone he met. Stanley's passion for his work was only surpassed by his love for his family. The family will always cherish the fond memories of Stanley enjoying life's simple pleasures. He had a love for watching movies, often getting lost in the stories that unfolded on screen. An avid fisherman, Stanley found peace and joy on the water, casting his line with patience and hope. Camping trips with family were among his favorite pastimes, where laughter echoed through the trees and stories were shared around the campfire. Stanley was also a master at the grill, delighting family and friends with his culinary skills, making gatherings memorable with his delicious creations. Stanley is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, and his three devoted daughters: Rhiannon Fitzjerrell, Jovanna Chavarria, and Lacee Ramirez. His legacy continues to thrive in his twelve adored grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. The love he shared with them will forever be a guiding light in their lives. In honoring Stanley's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his life and the profound impact he had on those around him. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Presbyterian Rust for their attentive care and support for Stanley and Dorothy during these challenging times. As we remember Stanley, we find solace in the love he shared, the lessons he imparted, and the strength he demonstrated. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished forever. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stanley's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Rest in peace, Stanley. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
