In Loving Memory

Stacey Eubanks Hembree Stephens
November 25, 1980 — September 24, 2026
Stacey Eubanks Hembree Stephens, born on November 25, 1980, in Monroe, Louisiana, left this world on September 24, 2026, after a brief battle with lung cancer. She was cherished by all who knew her, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, niece, cousin and friend. Stacey was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the lives of everyone she met.
Stacey was the loving daughter of Glenda Eubanks Ricks and the late Larry Eubanks. Her family roots ran deep, with the nurturing guidance of her mother and stepfather, Gerald Ricks Sr. She was predeceased by her father, and both sets of grandparents, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in the hereafter.
She was the devoted wife to her husband. Stacey was the proud mother of William Hembree (girlfriend Savanna), Amber Hembree, and Alisha Lingefelt (married to Gavin), Traci Hembree (Stepdaughter). Her legacy continues through her three cherished grandsons.
A sister like no other, Stacey shared an unbreakable bond with her brothers, Gerald Ricks Jr. (JD) and Michael Eubanks. She also leaves behind multiple aunt's, uncles, nieces, cousins and extended family to cherish her memory. Her sister-in-law, Gina Joiner, and close friend Rachel Ramsey were constants in her life, providing love and laughter through the years.
Stacey's heart was as bountiful as her love for her family. She was passionate about her education, graduating from Delta Community College with a degree in Computer Science after attending Kilbourne High School. Her love for Jesus was evident in her daily life, as she was an active member of Amazing Grace Worship Center. Her faith was her guiding light, and she never hesitated to share the joy of His goodness with others.
Her hobbies were many, and her love for plants and flowers was only matched by her affection for her dogs. Stacey was an avid member of the Union Parish Plant Swap, where she shared her passion and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. She found peace and purpose in tending to her garden, reading her Bible daily, and participating in church events. Stacey had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved—her smile was a reflection of her generous heart.
Stacey's family invites those who wish to honor her memory to consider donating to a charity of their choice, as she would have wanted her spirit of generosity to continue in her absence.
Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
