Born on July 29, 1937, in Seoul, Korea, Soon Hae was a beacon of grace and resilience, whose life was a tapestry of love, strength, and gentle wisdom. Soon Hae was the cherished daughter of Seong Ho Kim and Wol Hyeong Lee, who instilled in her the values of kindness and perseverance. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joon Il Lee, with whom she shared a life filled with warmth and mutual respect. A devoted mother, Soon Hae is survived by her four children: Hyun Sook, Hyun Sun, Hyun Mi, and Seong Won, who were the center of her world. Her nurturing spirit and gentle parenting style left an indelible mark on each of them. Her legacy continues through her six adoring grandchildren: Jin Hee, Lee, Kristin, Haelee, Jaeson, and Hanna, as well as her three great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years. Soon Hae was a woman of quiet determination and resilience. She lovingly dedicated her early years to raising her children, creating a home filled with love, delicious meals, and an impeccable sense of comfort. As her children grew, she courageously embraced new challenges, earning her driver’s license and stepping into the workforce. Her journey took her from cleaning houses to finding fulfillment in manufacturing roles, demonstrating her independence and unyielding spirit to live a life of her own making. To those who knew her, Soon Hae was a symbol of unwavering strength and gentle independence. Her sunny kitchen was not just a place for meals but a haven where fresh air and the melodies of Elton John filled the room, a memory her family will forever cherish. Her humming along to the music, with the sheer curtains dancing in the breeze, is a scene etched in the hearts of her loved ones. In remembering Soon Hae, her family extends a heartfelt message of gratitude for the memories and love she shared so freely.
